Privacy Policy
Short version: We collect only what's needed to help you find event crew. We don't sell your data, run ads, or share your info with third parties beyond what's needed to run the service. You can delete your account and all your data at any time.
Who we are
Partigo ("we", "us") operates partigo.live, a platform that helps people going to events in Portugal find companions. Questions? Email hello@partigo.live.
What data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, city, and contact method (Instagram handle, WhatsApp number, email etc)
- Event data: events you post and events you mark as attending
- Usage data: basic app interactions stored locally on your device (localStorage)
We do not collect location data, payment data, or device identifiers. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics services.
Why we collect it
- Account data — to identify you and show your contact details to other users going to the same event
- Event data — to match you with other attendees
- Email — for account authentication only
Legal basis: legitimate interest (connecting event attendees) and contract performance (providing the service you signed up for).
Who sees your contact details
Your contact method (e.g. Instagram handle or WhatsApp number) is visible to other logged-in Partigo users who are going to the same event. It is not publicly visible without an account.
Your email address is never shown to other users.
Who we share data with
- Supabase — our database provider, hosted in the EU. They process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Supabase Privacy Policy ↗

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers or any other third parties.
Cookies and local storage
We use localStorage (browser storage) to keep you logged in and remember your preferences between sessions. This is not a tracking cookie — it stays on your device and is not shared with anyone.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking.
How long we keep your data
- Account data — kept until you delete your account
- Event posts — kept until you delete them or your account
- Event joins — kept until you tap "Not going anymore" or delete your account
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your data
- Deletion — delete your account and all associated data at any time (tap "Delete Account" in your profile)
- Correction — update your profile information at any time
- Portability — request your data in a portable format
- Object — object to processing of your data
To delete your account: open the app → tap your profile (Mine tab) → tap Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our systems immediately.
To exercise any other rights, email hello@partigo.live. We respond within 30 days.
Children
Partigo is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. We'll post the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of Partigo after changes means you accept the updated policy.
